What we do
Cinéart is an independent film distributor exploiting theatrical, dvd, TV and VoD rights in Belgium and the Netherlands.

Our ambition is to select films based on quality, and make the most of it. We work hard to allow every movie to shine on the big screen whether they are small, big, huge, European, Asian, American, African, cross over, art house or mainstream. From Almodóvar to the Dardenne brothers, from 'Slumdog Millionaire' to 'Babaji'.

Present in Belgium for the last 30 years (www.cineart.be), and in the Netherlands since 2008 (www.cineart.nl), Cinéart brings stability, professionalism, enthusiasm, ambition and attention to details. What passion stands for. 

Cinéart in the Netherlands
In the beginning of 2008 Cinéart opened offices in the Netherlands. We are a young and ambitious company and it is our goal to select the best films and maximize their potential. Our catalogue is a reflection of Cinéart’s focus on quality. In our catalogue you will find titels such as ‘Caos Calmo’, 'Entre Les Murs', 'Vicky Cristina Barcelona', 'Slumdog Millionaire' and new titels such as 'Das Weisse Band', 'Looking for Eric' and the latest Almodóvar film  'Los Abrazos Rotos'. 

In our movies like impressive stories, told in a beautiful way, that give us a unique vision on reality or simply take us on a two-hour journey. We find beauty in movies that touch us. It is this love for film that makes our work a dreamjob.

Cinéart Benelux
We are one of the few independent distributors to be integrated - across windows and regions. We believe it is a guarantee of quality:

• Theatrical: dedicated teams in Belgium and the Netherlands.
• Video: TWIN PICS (joint venture with Pias in the Netherlands and Belgium) releasing and editing movies from our own catalogues as well as theme boxes and special compilations (e.g. Studio Canal, RTBF).
• TV and digital: staff in Belgium and the Netherlands dealing with rapidly growing TV and VoD sales.
• Acquisition: founding member of Indie Circle (European acquisition pool with members from France, Italy, Switzerland, Benelux, more to come) acquiring pan European titles.
