In het weekend van 16 oktober kwam Franse topactrice en glamourdiva Catherine Deneuve samen met regisseur François Ozon naar het Filmfestival in Gent om de nieuwe film “Potiche” te promoten. "Potiche" is, na "8 femmes", de tweede samenwerking van Ozon en Deneuve.

Catherine ontving een Honorary Joseph Plateau Award voor haar bijdrage aan de cinema.

Ook aanwezig op het filmfestival in Gent was regisseur Aleksei Fedorchenko. Hij regisseerde de film “Silent Souls” die in februari 2011 in release gaat in Nederland.
